Following recent events, the group splits.
San Francisco was a shell of what it once was. People were shooting at each other, walkers were overwhelming the city, and the remaining survivors tried to get out of the city as fast as possible.
John, Norbert, and Denny were hiding in one of the houses while the fighting went on. They had hid in it since they got released. Doggie wasn’t with Norbert, surprisingly. Denny decided to take a look outside as John and Norbert started arguing.
“This is all your fault!” John accused Norbert. “If you hadn’t made a big deal about me going into your house, then all of this wouldn’t have happened! I bet those people wouldn’t even have attacked us if you didn’t turn the entire town against us!”
“Wait...you were the one who entered my house?” Norbert asked.
“Yes! But that doesn’t matter right now!” John responded. “What matters is that the entire city is fucked! That lady probably lost her mind due to your smell!”
“You broke into my house.” Norbert grumbled. “I thought I could trust you...and you were the one who committed the crime all along! This is your fault, shithead! You should’ve just admitted it and nobody would be mad right now!”
“Oh right, so that you could give me an even worse treatment than what Charlie got. Are you actually that stupid, to think that-”
“Can you both please fucking shut up?!” Denny interrupted. They then did so. He sighed deeply, and stepped away from the windows.
“Only a few of the dead, at least in this street.” He informed them. “I think it’d be smarter if we left now, unless we want to deal with hundreds with them.”
“Alright, let’s go then, buddies.” John said, standing up. Norbert kept sitting on the ground, with his arms crossed.
“You coming, asshole?” John asked him.
“I’m not going to head out there with that asshole. If I would, it’d be to beat him to death!” Norbert ranted. Denny simply shrugged. It didn’t seem like he cared too much.
“Fine. Have it your way.”
He then walked out, with John following right behind him. They started to kill a few of the dead.
“You do know that we got attacked because that crazy woman wanted to kill Mike and Michelle, right?” Denny asked.
“I don’t really care.” John answered. “I find it more important to point out that lord douchebag is a raging lunatic.”
“Damn. You’re a whole other man when you’re sober.” Denny remarked.
In the house, Norbert kept sitting on the ground, enraged. Suddenly, he saw movement outside. It was Ralph. He had dropped his rocket launcher since it was empty. The man approached the house. When he entered it, Norbert immediately hit him with a frying pan. In retaliation, Ralph smashed his head against the dinner table.
The two continued to fight, until they realized that all of their screams and destruction had attracted a lot of walkers. Norbert ran into the yard of the house with Doggie, as Ralph ran behind him.
“We’re not done, dummy!” Ralph shouted, grabbing the man’s shoulder.
“Yes, we are!”
Norbert punched Ralph in the face, and threw him into a pool. The walkers started to get into the backyard, and fell in the pool.
“You’ll regret this you son of a bitch!” Ralph shouted, as Norbert climbed over the fence, and while Ralph nearly drowned as more walkers fell into the pool.
Hours later, Johnny woke up. He was in a forest in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly, Larry Portman kicked him in the ribs, which made Johnny moan oddly.
“Thought you would never wake up, old man. Get on your feet.” Larry commanded. Johnny slowly got up, and Larry kicked him again, before grabbing the man by his shirt collar and threatening him with a knife.
“Listen, if you’re going to be my bitch for the rest of your life, you should get up quicker than in twenty seconds. Now, I want you-”
“Haha, why would I be your bi-”
“Silence!” Larry raged, as he punched Johnny in the face. “I saved your life, so you owe me for the rest of it! Now, the first thing you need to do, is kill that stupid dog! We need food!”
Johnny looked at Doggie, who was pooping a little further. Larry handed Johnny the knife, and got annoyed once again.
“Stop fucking around, you brainless fool! Kill it!” Larry shouted.
“Oh haha, right, we need food.” Johnny realized, as he casually slit Larry’s throat. The boy gasped and grabbed for his throat, though he couldn’t do much. He eventually choked on his own blood.
When nightfall came, Johnny had somehow managed to make a campfire. He was eating some delicious meat, and noticed that Doggie was staring at him the whole time.
“Oh hi, Doggie. Do you want a piece?”
“I don’t think he does, asshole.”
Johnny looked up, and noticed that Jacob and Thomas Wallace had found him. Both of them had guns. Jacob was aiming his at Johnny.
“Johnny, I’m so happy to see you!!” Jacob beamed. “And I’ll be even more happy to see you die an agonizing death, for all the trouble you caused for me and Mr. Wallace! My friend, it’s time to finally put an end to this piece of shit!”
Thomas rolled his eyes. “Let’s just go. It was a small thing, and nothing of it matters anymore.”
Jacob didn’t want to listen. “I’m killing that asshole, Thomas! I know you want to see him dead too! Let’s do this!”
“Fine.” Thomas allowed. Jacob tried to grab his gun, but Thomas stopped him.
“If we’re doing this, we’re doing it right.” Thomas stated. “So...Johnny. I would like for you to get up and step away from the campfire.”
“I’ll do anything for my princess!” Johnny replied happily, which made Thomas frown. He then proceeded to do what was expected.
“Let’s do this, Thomas. You ready?” Jacob asked.
Thomas sighed and waited to respond for a while.
Suddenly, Thomas grabbed Jacob’s head, and pushed it right into the campfire. Jacob screamed in agony as he started to burn. Thomas walked up to Johnny, who was slightly confused.
“Never really liked him, honestly.” Thomas stated. “And he was a fool for trying to kill you over nothing. Anyways, we should probably get out of here. These screams will attract some of the dead for sure.”
“Okay! Whatever you want, Tommy!” Johnny replied. The two then left. Jacob’s screams continued to be heard for a while, until it finally stopped.
Somewhere else, Denny and John were wandering around when they heard voices nearby.
“What was that?” John asked.
“You tell me, old man.” Denny responded.
John narrowed his eyes.
“Let’s get closer.” He decided.
They decided to get closer to investigate, but both suddenly got hit in the head from behind, presumably with the butt of a rifle. They looked at their attacker, who was revealed to be Ryan.
“Don’t move or I’ll shoot you both!” He threatened. Nancy appeared as well.
“Ryan! That’s the drug dealer kid and the drunk priest from the city!” Nancy informed. Denny and John didn’t seem very pleased upon hearing them be addressed like that.
“The good guys or the bad guys?” Ryan asked.
“The...chaotic good guys. The kid always bought drugs from that one drug dealer who once held a shootout, and the priest drove all the way to West Virginia to summon his friends. He also killed the insane priest who also held a shootout, and that was at the feast.”
“How do you know all this?” Ryan asked.
“That doesn’t matter.” Nancy responded. “Anyways, Mark will want to see these guys. Let’s bring them to him.” Ryan sighed, and lowered his rifle. The four started to walk towards the camp.
“Did we only have three major shootouts?” Denny wondered. “It felt like a hundred happened. Well, Johnny’s bank manager once tried to kill him and massacred several officers, so that’s four. I don’t think there’s a fi-”
Once they arrived at the camp, Mark immediately noticed them.
“Denny! It’s great to see you, man.” Mark said.
“Good to see you too, asshole.” John grumbled.
“And...Father John.” Mark added, seemingly not too pleased to see the man again. “So...Johnny isn’t with you guys too?”
“No.” Denny responded. “Last time I saw him was when the shootout had begun.”
Denny looked around the camp for a while.
“So...did everyone make it?” He eventually asked. Mark shook his head. He seemed very upset when he thought of the people they lost.
“We lost Mike.” Mark told him. Denny got very upset. “Aside from him, Johnny’s dad was blown up, as well as some others.”
“Damn.” Denny said. “How is Michelle?”
Denny and Mark looked at her. She was talking to a horse.
“Emotionally, she’s surprisingly fine.” Mark answered. “Mentally...I’m not sure. Anyways, make yourselves at home.”
Meanwhile, Michelle continued to talk to the horse. Its name was Terminator, for an unknown reason.
“And then we will stomp all their heads!” Michelle explained to the horse. “After this, we can infiltrate the base! I will disguise as the great plumber, while you will be the bodyguard! Once we’ve reached the core, we can finally reach the hear-”
“What the hell are you doing?!” Jenny interrupted.
“I’m...discussing important plans.” Michelle replied. “This doesn’t concern you!”
“Indeed, it doesn’t.” Jenny admitted. “I just want to make sure you haven’t lost your damn mind. I know that it must’ve really hurt to lose your b-”
“Agreed.” Michelle interjected, seemingly not caring about what Jenny was about to say. “Now, let me continue!”
Michelle continued to talk to Terminator, while Jenny rolled her eyes as she sat back with the others.
“Yeah, she has lost her mind." Jenny sighed.
Hours later, a group of people were sleeping in the room of an unknown house. Suddenly, they were awoken by the shouts of someone familiar.
“Get up, people!” Saul Goodman commanded. “We need to hurry. My friend will arrive soon. Don’t want to keep him waiting, do we now?”
“Saul, it’s barely light outside. Jesus.” Nigel complained.
“What can I say? Maybe you should go to sleep earlier.”
Saul tossed keys at Francesca.
“Start the van.” Saul said. She rubbed her eyes, before she got up in annoyance and went outside.
“Where are we even going?” Joanna asked.
“We will take a boat trip to Belize.” Saul replied, which made Nigel frown.
“Are you serious?” He asked.
“I’d love to, but unfortunately no.” Saul answered. “Instead, we will go...somewhere. Wherever my friend wants to go.”
“Why are you taking boat trips in the middle of a zombie apocalypse?” Oshkosh asked.
“Because it’s possible, and it’s fun. And we shouldn’t stop having fun, even when the majority of the population is gone.” Saul replied. “Now, enough with the questions, please, and get into the van.”
“Why am I doing this?” Nigel wondered. “Am I insane?”
“We both are.” Oshkosh assured him.
Soon, all seven got into the van.
“And off we go!” Saul shouted, as they drove away.
At Mark’s camp, people started to wake up too. Monica had been the lookout for the last few hours, and Mark approached her.
“Did anything happen?” Mark asked, to which she nodded.
“The priest is gone. Someone abducted him.” Monica explained. Mark looked around camp. Maxwell and Lee were there, being some of the only remaining priests too, but there was no sign of John.
“Can’t really say I’m surprised.” Mark said, to nobody in particular. “Anyways, let’s go everyone! We can’t stay here.”
Elsewhere, Johnny and Thomas were staying in a small cabin. Johnny was still asleep, but Thomas was already awake. He tapped on Johnny’s shoulder to wake the man up, which caused Johnny to instinctively kick him in his crotch. Thomas screamed in pain as he fell on the ground.
“Jesus Christ, Johnny! What the fuck?!” Thomas eventually shouted.
“Oh hi, Thomas.” Johnny greeted. “I’m sorry, I just don’t like it when people touch me. Especially after uncle Dan started to massage me, and-”
“Okay, Johnny.” Thomas meekly interrupted, trying to change the subject as quick as possible, while still very hurt from Johnny’s kick. After a while, he managed to get back onto his feet.
“I’m going to get some food.” Thomas informed. “Stay here.”
“I’ll do whatever you want, my friend!” Johnny agreed. “Just make sure to bring some candy for me!”
Thomas, with an emotionless expression, bashed his head against the wall once, before he walked out. Johnny decided to lay on the ground and looked outside. That was when he noticed that there was a squirrel in the trees. Curious, Johnny immediately shattered the window by kicking it, so that he could crawl through. He ran through the woods to search for the squirrel again, but to no avail. Suddenly, Johnny saw movement through the woods. It didn’t look like a squirrel. Five men with heavy armour and guns ran to him, and started pointing their guns at him.
“Oh hi.” Johnny greeted, raising his arms. “I don’t want any trouble, I’m just searching for a squirrel!”
“On your knees!” A soldier shouted. When Johnny didn’t do that, a soldier kicked him, which made him fall. They then proceeded to handcuff him.
“You’re hurting me!” Johnny complained. “Let me see the squirrel, you bastards!”
An older man wearing a suit approached them. He took a look at Johnny, who was eating dirt from the ground.
“Ah, Johnny Wise.” The man smiled. “One of the people I definitely did not expect to still be alive. Put him with the others.”
“Yes, Mr. Washington!” A man named Paul obeyed. Johnny tried to resist as Paul and another soldier dragged him to a truck, where he was then locked in.
Somewhere else, Peter was sitting in a dark small room. Aside from a bookshelf, two beds, and stone walls, there was not much more to it. It looked like a prison cell. With a generator, Peter’s room had lights, which allowed for him to read a book. Suddenly, the door opened. Someone walked in.
“Myles!” Peter greeted the man. “Why are you here? It isn’t lunch time yet, right?”
“You have a new cellmate.” Myles answered.
Peter took a look at his new cellmate. With his mouth agape, he dropped his book on the ground, and was completely frozen.
“Oh hi, Peter.” Johnny greeted.
