Blake is a survivor and main character in A New World. First met in the Hospital, he is shown to be headstrong and powerful, using his strength for the best of others. He is caring, helping Cleo Brooke through the apocalypse before dating her.

He gives Cleo pills and she kills herself. As he waits for her to turn, Melissa finds them and is furious. She puts her sister down before turning to Blake. She stabs him in the chest, making him fall. As the others watch, he screams in pain. She stabs him in the stomach twice, then the chest three more times. He dies of blood loss and she stabs him in the head five times angrily.
